NCEF Announces 2026 Scholarship Award Recipients
The Northern California Education Foundation (NCEF) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 scholarship awards, recognizing outstanding students from the Colleges of Medicine, Pharmacy, and Dental Medicine at California Northstate University.
Each year, NCEF’s scholarship programs are designed to support students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, service, and a strong commitment to making a difference in healthcare and their communities. This year’s recipients reflect the talent, dedication, and promise that continue to inspire our mission.
In 2026, NCEF is honored to recognize recipients across three scholarship categories: the Financial Scholarship, the Merit Scholarship, and the Presidential Scholarship. Together, these awards celebrate a diverse group of future healthcare professionals whose achievements and potential embody the values of the Foundation.
2026 Presidential Scholarship Award Recipient
NCEF is especially proud to announce Iqra Ahmad of the College of Pharmacy as the recipient of the 2026 Presidential Scholarship.
This recognition marks a historic milestone for the Foundation, as the Presidential Scholarship is the inaugural award of its kind from NCEF. As the Foundation’s highest scholarship honor, the Presidential Scholarship was established to recognize a student who exemplifies exceptional academic achievement, leadership, service, and commitment to advancing the health and well-being of others.
By naming Iqra Ahmad as the first-ever Presidential Scholarship recipient, NCEF celebrates not only an outstanding student leader, but also the beginning of a meaningful new tradition that reflects the Foundation’s long-term investment in future healthcare professionals.
Looking Ahead
NCEF remains committed to supporting students as they pursue their educational goals and prepare to serve their communities through medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, and other health professions. We are proud to stand behind these scholars and to recognize the hard work, perseverance, and purpose that have brought them to this moment.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of the 2026 scholarship recipients. Your accomplishments represent the future of healthcare leadership, and we look forward to seeing the impact you will make in the years ahead.
Respectfully,
NCEF Board of Directors
